About

Denis + Ellie = Dellie

A couple in Da Nang, one printer at home, and pieces made for one person.

What we make

Dellie designs and 3D-prints one-of-a-kind, practical pieces in Da Nang: things that do a job on a desk or at home, the Dragon Bridge night lamp we designed ourselves, and pets modelled in 3D from a photo for their owners to paint.

Every piece is made to order on one Bambu Lab A1 printer, at home. Nothing waits in a box: you order, then we print. It started in September 2026 as gifts for friends. They liked them, so here we are.

Denis

Denis designs, prints and paints. He took the Dragon Bridge lamp through seventeen versions until it printed whole and lit, and he modelled Sumo the poodle from his owner’s photos.

He came to printing from software, and he likes things where code meets hardware. In the Lab he writes up his side project: a fruit fly’s brain, running on a computer, driving a six-legged robot whose legs and body he 3D-printed. He writes the Lab and the blog’s making-of stories.

Ellie

Ellie looks after the brand: design, marketing, search, and the words on this site. Her day job is marketing and design at a print-on-demand company with customers abroad.

She is the one who finds the right gift for a person. When a friend of ours wanted a birthday gift for her best friend, Denis gathered seventeen ideas, Ellie picked out the few that suited the person it was for, and the one our friend chose was Ellie’s favourite. She is planning our first painting workshops.
